CULT TV INSIDER - ISSUE 11

SHOW NOTES: Welcome to our eleventh edition of the Cult TV Insider.

1 min 10 secs: TORCHWOOD ROUNDTABLE – PART 1. The first part of our special edition of the Cult TV Insider, where we focus on the scripting of TORCHWOOD. Our guests are:

BRIAN MINCHIN is a Script Editor in BBC Wales Drama. Currently working on the "Torchwood", he has also been Script Editor on "Belonging", plus a 30 minute drama by Cath Tregenna "Stick or Twist", and other TV and Radio programmes. Originally from Aberystwyth he has worked for several Welsh independent companies and produced many short films with Sgrin Wales and ITV Wales.

CATH TREGENNA, after several years working as an actress on stage and in television, started writing on BBC Wales' home grown drama, "Belonging". She went on to create and write the series The Bench set in a small town magistrates' court before becoming one of the regular team of Casualty writers. As well as story-lining "Pobol y Cwm", she has co-written two series of "Cowbois ac Injans", a comedy drama for S4C with her brother, Jon Tregenna, and now writes primarily for Torchwood. Her theatre play, Art and Guff had a run in Soho Arts Theatre in 2001.
